Wordpress has an awesome capability to add photos to your website. Single photos can be added to a page/post or you can add multiple pictures in a photo gallery. We will cover both here in this tutorial.

Add single photos to a page/post:

  1. Access your Wordpress page or post. If you do not know how to do that, read the how-to on Access and Edit Wordpress Pages and Posts.
  2. In the content body (large white space below the title), put your cursor where you want the photo to be placed.
  3. Click Add Media in the toolbar.
  4. In the new window that opens, you can either upload an image from your computer using Upload Files. Or you can use an image that has already been uploaded to your site using the Media Library feature.
  5. Click on the image from the gallery.
  6. In the right sidebar, scroll to the bottom to Attachment Display Settings, and choose your alignment settings, link and size.
  7. Click Insert into page.
  8. Click Update at the top right to update the page/post.
